Welcome to Studio S., a full-service boutique interior design firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and working on projects nationwide. Founded in 2016 by Laura Kostanich, the studio specializes in everything from large-scale remodels and custom home builds to furniture refreshes, offering a highly tailored and comprehensive approach to design.
Laura began her formal training at Mercyhurst University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Since 2009, she has honed her craft and cultivated a signature aesthetic defined by a fresh yet timeless sensibility balancing refined simplicity with a collected depth. Her design philosophy is rooted in curiosity and connection: understanding who her clients are, how they live, and what they dream for their homes, then translating that into spaces that feel deeply personal and enduring.
Studio S. seeks to honor the past while designing for the future. The firm takes an architecture-first approach, viewing each home through a creative lens that prioritizes both purpose and beauty.
